About 2 years ago I opened a credit line of $2500 with Citi bank. I threw the cards away, but never remembered to cancel them. So now I'm wanting to use the account and get a duplicate, but they said it is locked. What does that mean?

They have been doing periodic credit checks every 3 months since I received the card.

I have some checks to deposit. On the deposite envelope it says to write my account number on the check. Do I write the account number anywhere on the front of the check, or do I write it in the back where I signed it? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks for the answers I've already received. The situation is that one of my brothers had a joint ownership with our mother, and lived in the property. Sadly she's died, and myself and our other brother each inherit a third of the house. I don't live in the property, and nor does my other brother. I'm ready to let our brother live in the property until he feels ready to sell, but my other brother contacted him within a few days of our mother's death, trying to force an early discussion on selling the property and threatening a legal wrangle to force a sale if he didn't comply. The brother who doesn't live on the property is extremely well-off and owns two homes - can his behaviour in this matter be legally justified?

My 7 year old daughter has Down syndrome, arthritis, suspected lupus, wears hearing aids and doesn't speak. Her arthritis is a major concern. There have been times when she has not been able to walk and she has even been hospitalized because of it. We live in Texas and go to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital. Her therapist there said that swimming would be the best exercise for her. We live in a very small town and there are no appropriate facilities nearby where she can swim daily. I am a single mom of two. We are on a limited budget. I cannot afford a heated pool on my own. I was hoping maybe a pool builder might donate one or give us a really big discount. This would greatly improve my daughter's quality of life. Also, she seems to be the happiest when she is swimming or playing in water. We have trusted God to provide for us and He always has. I am hoping that someone out there will see this as an opportunity to minister. We would greatly appreciate it. God bless!
