Yes it does help but now most of the accounting software programs will do the calculations for you it is fill in the fields but you should still be good with advanced math concepts in school for accounting you will do lots of problem examples over and over wrote learning
so if you don't like math accounting may not be for you, If you plan to study business all degree programs start out with some basic accounting course try a accounting course to see if you like it.

accounting is completely based on maths. So if maths is horrible for u then u can't study accounting

Many people confuse accounting with math. Accounting is basic math. The basis of accounting is problem solving...knowing where to put things; categorizing.

No, you don't have to be a math wiz. Being able to categorize and organize are much more important skills. Sure, there are alot of numbers in accounting, but its not a ton of difficult math.
