I need to help raise some money for my robotics team from school and I know a few companies I could ask but I don't know the format for pleading for sponserships or grants or something.
Who do I address it to?
How do I format it?
What things should I say and not say?
If you can answer any, that would be great!

OK what u do is make out like ull be doing them a favour, tell them it Will be in their best interest to Sponcer ur team tell them they will get loads of free publicity, do some research find out who the company director is and address it to him/her, make sure its a local company and invite them to the event,

first thing look up the dictionary, then make the simplest direct request 4 a good cause any guy would sponsor
