People can get arrested or fined or whatever for scalping them on the street but on Ebay its 'ok'. Why is that? I think its bull. Like tickets arent high enough in price so those that cant get them at the cheapest price when available by the vendor because they are sold out, would end up paying more on Ebay.

Have you ever went to get a car, or furniture, or what-ever, because they were offering a great deal, but you ended up making much higher payments because of your credit score? I'm doing research on this. If you could tell me what the item was & what it was advertised at (such as a new car for $99 a month) and what you ended up getting for ($299 a month, for example), that information would really help me in my research! Please and thank you!

I have two 401K accounts form previous companies I was working for. But one of them has only $1500 in it. After resigning, the account was set up by under one of the mutual company.

I have been paying around $30/year for the fee for the last 5 years.
Do you think I should close the account even though I have to pay 10 or 20% of penalty fee?

I am not sure if it worth keeping paying the annual fee for that account when there is no money going in there and has only $1500.

Could you give me an advice?
Thanks.

I just got off the phone with my bank, and they totally screwed me over! I payed rent at the beginning of last month and I was told that it had cleared. Come to find out it had never cleared.. and that there wasn't enough money in my account when i knew there was to pay the rent check! Now I have a charge on my account and i have to pay for 2 months of rent! What would you do if your bank did this?!

Im in the state of California, i don't know if every state is different, but anyway, I was sent home from work early due to illness, here let me explain.
I was taken to the emergency room, picked up by ambulance @ work, this happened on a thursday around 1pm., did not come in friday, & returned 2 work on Monday. I came in @ 8am, @ around 10am, the office mgr told me that I couldnt be @ work, that i needed a dr's note saying i was ok to come back to work. So i went to the hospital, hoping they'd give me a quick note, they told me that i had to check in as a patient wait 4hrs so i could get a note or i could call my dr & have him give me a note. I called my dr's office, but they had to set up an appt. Anyway, I didn't return to work 'til the next day. Did the company (my workplace) have the right to send me home & not pay me, or should I have at least gotten paid 4hrs that day? I heard that if u show up to work, that they're required to pay min. of 4 hrs. Thanks 4 ur time!
