do these laws apply to the use of audio recording when using video cameras??

nothing I know of prohibits an employer from putting video cameras in the workplace.

The employer's premises of employment (includs. bldgs and parking lot) remains under the control of the employer and as such, they can install cameras anywhere (limited use in restrooms and so forth). They are however, in some states under a duty to notify employees that they are been recorded, either in the employment manual/contract or as a public notice posted.
