if a person has auto insurance for $100,000 and he hits someone and they have broken bones and the person they hit wants more than $100,000 for pain and suffering, how could the person get more money from the insurance company or that is impossible??

Is their an attorney who represents independent insurance agents in Austin, Texas? WE are having trouble locating an attorney that protects the rights and laws of an Insurance Agent. My husband and I work in the 403(b) market, assisting educators with their retirement. I would like to talk with an attorney and may need legal representation. We are victims of an individual agent and a TPA who have slandered us. As a result we have lost a huge portion of our business due to their unethical conduct. It will also harm us financially in the future. Their slanderous and immoral actions have blocked us continuing to do business.

I'm really interested in becoming an Auto Claims Adjuster/Appraiser and I have questions about the job. I currently work at a Wrecker/Towing company paying out cars that have been in accidents & Impounded by the county.
I deal with auto insurance adjusters/companies through out the day, and I asked one adjuster that has been coming here for a while. I felt like he would answer my questions by e-mail so, I e-mailed him asking detailed questions like......
Would I have to attend school or can they just train me? what's the pay $$$? salary? or commission? Would it be something that I would like? Blah, Blah, Blah, you know some general questions..... He replied, "I'll meet with you on your lunch break & I'll give you info about the job"..... I answered back, " I can't,blah, blah, blah, please e-mail me the answers".
I haven't heard anything back yet & that's been last week.... Do you think he just wanted a date? or do you think not? or what?

any answer about the job?

I plan to leave the small business (less then 10 employees) that I work for. I don't think that they are required to offer cobra- but can they? What other options are available? I live in VA and I have a chronic illness so an individual policy would be unaffordable.

Plan my wife and I are on: Blue Choise POS 10

My wife is 27 weeks pregnant. She has to go to Labor and Delivery because she had stomach problems, abdomenal cramping, and back pain.

I got an explanation of benefits from 4/5/07 yesterday (4/6/07)
Saying that I am responsible for the charges.

Here is the explanation: The explanation: "You are responsible for these charges because your contract excludes benefits for services provided out of network when they aren't for emergancy care or authorized by the primary care physician or network physician."

Well: plan states 100% coverage as long as facility is in network.

Why does the Explanation of Benefits say that they are not paying for this?????

She is STILL in the hospital, so why did they do an explanation of benefits already??????
