I asked my bank for a specific document to avoid a court case against me. They told me there wasn't one. 8 months later (1 week after the court case) they send the document to the courts.
Should/Can I ask the bank president for reimbursement? I have every receipt.

I have proof they "did not have the document requested" in writing from the bank from 7 months ago.

You should better consult the lawyer. He is the one well aware of the circumstances and the law of the land. The forum will be able to tell you according to the law of their land even if you get the proper advice.

According to your circumstances, you can move to courts as you claim to have every proof to nail down the bank.

Adding on that, I'd suggest that you also make that person who signed on the non-existance of such paper personally liable and answerable. That would give him some jolt.

Hope, it helps.

Absolutely. The bank will most likely take care of it for you since you have proof that it was their error that ended up costing you. If they refuse, let them know they will be hearing from your attorney. I bet it won't have to go that far, though.
