I have my Iowa life insurance license and want to specialize in selling annuities thru seminars and lead cards. I am looking for someone to mentor me and train me. If any one has any good advise or connections with this industry please let me know.

I am part of a nationwide organization of insurance and financial advisors that offers excellent training and mentoring programs to new and existing advisors. We currently have access to multiple top rated annuity companies and insurance companies. If you're interested in finding out more about it email me at robertsonassures@yahoo.com.

Hard work. If you're honest and hard working you can do well for yourself and your clients. Selling annuities is one of the most profitable products you can sell. Unfortunately they're often sold to the wrong people. Only a very (very) small percentage of investors should get involved with high cost annuities with inflated fees & questionable "tax" benetfits.

If I was to buy an variable annuity today and not have my ROTH IRA & 401K fully funded I'd be making a terrible mistake. If I buy a low cost S&P500 index fund I'll be taxed a the capital gain rate when I cash them in (and have more money than a high fee variable annuity). The variable annuity is taxed at he "earnings rate". That can be a disaster for many people.

Consider "financial counciling" instead.
