I provided an examination under oath shortly after a fire destroyed our home. Now-nearly three months later we are finalizing the claims process and a sworn statement in proof of loss with inventory of personal property will be submitted. Once that is done, I have to undergo a 2nd exam under oath. What will this entail?

By paying the bill, that put me over the out-of-pocket limit. Off hand, do you think I can turn in a claim for the amount (minus the collection fees and late fees, of course). The original claim itself is now one year and four months old. Thanks for any input.

Im a Life and Health Insurance Agent and have been for about 5 months but I suck at it. How can I become a more effective salesmen?

I'm great with people and people trust me. Im knowledgable about my products and I believe in them. I just stink at closing I guess.

Also for a bonus question. Where can I get good qualified leads without paying more than I'm making (which ain't much)?

She wants to know if when she and my brother get life, health insurance under his work ect.... if they will verify her highschool graduation status. She has done very well with work, and they both want her to be a stay at home mom, so a graduation hasnt ever really bothered her(she says). But she is worried that his work will use that as important info, or any insurance company for that matter. Ive tried to console her, but i think the only thing she can rest easy with is an informed answer. Any one out there who works in Insurance or just happens to know a lot about it?

I am with AXA insurance for several years and in August 2005 My home was burnt down. They settled on the buildings and only partial payment on the contents.
I supplied them with all the necessary documentation and photos of items lost but they have declined to put an offer on several items and told me to take it to arbitration.
So I engaged a solicitor to start the process in July 2006 however AXA did not answer my solicitors letters for 4 months and at that stage only a one line letter giving us the name of their solicitor .It is now almost 6 months since AXA told us to go to arbitration.
My question is: due to their delaying tactics am I entitled to sue them for breach of contract etc instead of waiting indefinatly for an arbitrator to decide

My beloved mother died; found out later she had conveyed "all" her interest in everything into a family trust. Brother #2 to be Trustee. However the notarized date was when she was in a coma; in any event, she was so mightily drugged the notary should not have notarized the document. Two Questions: Does "all" her interest include death benefits from life insurance policies? I have an idea which company(s) might be the underwriter. Can I call them and will they tell me if I am a named beneficiary under the policy?

I am a single mother of a 6 month old. The father and I are not married, but are living together. We both realize that we need to get life insurance, but have no idea where to start. We are 30 and 35 respectively, both smokers and otherwise in good health.

Hello,

My friend is already in the hospital. He was in a car accident. He does not have insurance, but I am trying to provide some kind of coverage for him. Most health insurance companies will not cover someone who is already in the hospital. And he does not qualify for Medi-Cal. So are there any other options available out there, so that he can get the surgery he needs?

i got rear ended in september and still haven't gotten my car fixed. my claim rep doesn't call me back i would call every day for like 4 days and leave messages. one time i called 5 times in one day to see what was happening with my claim and my claim rep never called me back and yes i did leave a message. I had to call progressive twice they said the other party has 3yrs to accept liability and they said that i might not get my deductable back. wtf!!! i was at a red light and i was rear ended. i asked progressive when was the last time they followed up with the other insurance party that was at fault? they told me 2 weeks ago. wouldn't a good insurance company follow up at least every 2 days or at least every 3 days? i am stuck here with a $8 check to get my car fixed with a damage appraised for 720+ and progressives estimate is 508.00 i am soo mad. what should i do????? I hate progressive i even told them that!!!
