Well listen, if and when you do go out on your own, you might want to consider adding prepaid legal and identity theft to what you have to offer. You could even do it now, if you wanted. This way, you do not work for anyone. We are right where medical insurance was right before it took off, so now is the time to join. I am just throwin it out there, so you do not have to work for anyone anymore. I mean, if you are already in insurance, why not do this?

You need a license, you need a company willing to give you a contract, ie, let you write their insurance, and you need to have errors and ommissions coverage in place before you can start writing insurance with them.

Usually they want a premium volume committment, except for Progressive.
