We have a $600 total family deductible and everyone in our area accepts the insurance. We are not charged monthly for this insurance. I was just wondering if any other companies offer similar plans or if it's specific to my husband's occupation. He's a coal miner and most coal companies offer insurance packages like this. ok I live in a top floor flat and seem to have a leak in my livingroom it has come in via the roof and has ran down my wall.

What can I do regarding my home insurance im not really sure how it works - can I claim for it to be fixed as well as the decoration value? i.e will they send a roofer to fix or do i need to do that myself then claim for the wall paper damage only?

Im just not sure how the process works?

I received fairly expensive medical services and received a statement that my insurance paid 90%, and that I owed the additional 10%. However, several months have gone by and I have still not received a bill for the additional 10% from my provider. Is there some kind of statute of limitations on billing? I have put aside cash for the bill but am wondering if I'll ever receive it. I don't want to call and remind them, however. What should I do? Any advice? How long do I have to wait before I can be sure they're not going to bill me?

I just gave birth to my son last month and I filled out the form to put him on my health insurance (offered by my employer) and it was waiting approval because I was waiting for City Hall to give me his birth certificate, which is still not ready yet. Well I just found out that he is still not on my plan, and I called them to find out why and they told me it's because he has a different last name than me (I gave him my fiance's last name, obviously because we're getting married.) Then when I asked if he could go under my fiance's insurance (he works there too) they said it's too late. This is not fair! What can I do?

He passed away 8 Months ago. This policy shows a face value amount as of march 2004. Also was part of a class action law suit. Does this mean There could be an amount if insurance monies to claim. I would also like to know the meaning of the term "Measuring Life" Please, any help appreciated.
