I've been in the same job now for about six-seven years, and I'm updating my resume. Normally, you're supposed to have three references, but most of my bosses at my old jobs years ago have moved on, and I have no way to get in contact with them (or even know where they are). Are two references good enough for a resume? Even if I track down someone from 8 years ago, would that reference be too outdated?

Hi, I am interested in a career in accounting. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. I am thinking of going back to school to get another Bachelor’s for Accounting because it will be easier than getting a Master’s in Accounting and not having any experience at all. Also, I was looking at the Master’s program for non-accounting majors and you have to take a lot of credits and the classes if you are enrolled as a Graduate student are more expensive.

I would like to know how hard it will be for me to major in Accounting?

I’m not used to studying hard. I’m used to being the “lazy student” and barely passing. I love Math but while I was going for my Bachelor’s in Sociology I took Calculus 1 and I didn’t pass it because I couldn’t keep up with how fast the class was moving.

Any advice how I can achieve the above or any options on what I should do?

Thank you.

Whenever he enter in the office, he always shouting, swearing in the office. Is this the Harrassment? He always look for the small mistake from all the employees. Once he found the mistake (very rare) he never spare that employee. Couple of the guy quit the job right away. I need the job so I can not quit.

A Co- Worker of mine goes out for drinks at a bar daily for lunch. When she comes back, he breath smells like she been drinking heavy! A few ppl told her about it and I've told her that ppl have talked about it. I think she comes back drunk b/c she have a different personality, she becomes talkative, sometimes she has an attitude. A lot of ppl don't like her. She is cool but I'm afraid she will get into trouble one day. Can she lose he rjob for drinking booze on her lunch hour?

I feel terribly down.Tired, bored, and quite negative in general.I blame it to the fact that I'm looking for a job and have nothing to do all day.I thought I would find a job easier but it's not like that.Could it be because of that that i feel so?

Ive only been at this job for a little more than 3 months. Im selling insurance in a cozy home town office. Its not a terribly difficult job or anything but its just not for me. Im not the office job kinda person and I will never advance here. I just graduated with an Associates in General Studies in May of this year and now after having a 'real' job for a couple months I want to go back to school full time and pickup a certificate in Drafting and Engineering. My boss is REALLY nice and he depends on me very much. I have two coworkers that will have to pickup a lot of slack when I leave. One of them is my boss and one other lady. How do I quit without feeling like a jerk?

How would you handle a co-worker giving you unwanted attention at work. Like always trying to sit next to you.....or trying to talk to you when you are busy working....or staring at you a lot? I just started this job so I was trying to be nice to everyone......but if my trying to be nice was taking out of context, is there some way to correct the mistake? Or should I try to ignore it?
