You do get a day off try looking during that time. Go on line under Jobs and sign up, tell them what you are looking for and then start sending out resume to every place that would interest you.
Its not that hard my husband did it and he has a good paying job now..

You can look online when you get home. Or look up recruiters/job hunters and tell them what your looking for. Becareful of how many day's you miss from work for the interviews. If you can't do an interview till 5pm tell them. If you need to take time off work make sure it's for the right job.

Just look online and if they ask can we contact your current employer let them know that they can at a later time.

Your best bet is the old fashioned telephone and FAX.
