I want to file a quit claim on a property I invested with my friend. I already have the form for it and I'm ready to get it notarized. What do I do after that??

Also how do I deal with the loan of the said property since my name is also on the loan?

I was recently terminated from my job in July and am having difficulty finding a new one, but in the meantime I have about $25K in credit card debt and not able to make payments. A credit counselor suggested bankruptcy, but I know the consequences of such action. However, without a job I have no money and I do plan to get one as soon as possible. So please don't tell me to get a job, I already know that and doing everything I can by applying for many different positions. But given my current situation, is bankruptcy my only choice and is it better to do when you are unemployed or have a job? I have also already tried to contact the creditors to negotiate the terms, but no luck since my credit is in such bad shape. Any suggestions?

We have 2 mortgages, ARM and a 30 yr fixed. It's been 3 years since we started, but we barely scratch the principal ($50,000) for the ARM. Is 15 yr fixed a better solution to refinance our ARM? Or should we just pay extra towards principal monthly? How much extra dollars do we need monthly to pay it off in 5 years? We are paying $502.45 monthly now, and that's just for interest. Thank you.

The scheme works where you can be offered 30% towards the house price. We will find out on Wednesday if we have the funding. We've seen a house we want but it is been withdrawn at 17.00 Monday by the estate agents as the solicitors are acting for a deceased person's estate. Best bid wins. Can we bid and then withdraw on wednesday if our funding is not received without any legal costs? This is a UK question

If they can qualify for a mortgage, they will buy it.. But, if they don't, they will move out and we already know that the house is trashed inside, not to mention the outside hasn't been taken care of at all, (weeds everywhere). There are stains all over the carpet, would have to be repainted and mold in the basement. And these are things that we know of right now, I'm sure there is more damage that we don't know of yet. When they signed the lease, the house was immaculate. Fixing it up and trying to sell it would be difficult in Michigan's economy. They have been behind in payments during their lease and have a large amount of late fees that they want us to just take out of the security deposit. The deposit doesn't even begin to cover the damages that we would need to repair. What can we do if they don't buy it?

When I pay my credit card, will paying immediately help my credit better than if I wait until the end of the statement?

Will it help my credit more if I wait to get to about 30% of my credit limit and then pay it rather than pay it right away?

Is paying right away the best option?

I am starting a career in 100% commissioned sales as an independent contractor paid through a 1099. The business will have general office expenses. Would it be a tax benefit for me to start an LLC and have my checks paid to the LLC.

I applied for a loan w/ a good cosigner but was declined. If I switch to my cosigner being primary and I the cosigner, what will the difference be? Can I still make the payments and have it effect my credit in a good way? This would be my first financed vehicle. I really need a loan and have a great cosigner!? But am having way to much trouble!

I was fired about a month ago due to attendance issues. One of the times that they claimed that I was tardy was due to coming in late on a worker's comp appointment because I didn't have a vehichle and had to take the bus. Is there anything that I can do? I'm sure that I can get records from my appointment backing up the fact that I was there and what time I left.

Can someone suggest a method of finding out the acutal stocks (number or dollar amount) I own through the different mutual funds I own.
I know I own JNJ in at least three or four different mutul funds that I invest in. I just want to know how much of JNJ do I actually own. It would be helpful to know this before I consider buying any JNJ stock directly.

Do any of the portfolio analysis utilities have the ability to “go inside” my mutual funds and summarize the company and geographic holdings across all of my funds so that if I entered the dollar value and symbol of all of my funds, it would return my actual portfolio.
Thank You

I was offered with the verbal agreement a part time 25 hour week position. As the interview progressed i was told i would need to work two 12 hour days though. I initially let her know I could not work more than 25 hours a week as I had Domestic and leisure activities to tend to. So now I'm unemployed. Are there any legal excuses I can tell a manger and get away with it? I've contacted the state labor boards and find no answers. Please assist me with this. Screwed in Oregon.

There's never enough help to do everything. I work at a pharmacy and I feel prescriptions, etc. and also work the register at the pharm. counter. I have to work soon today and I haven't been in since Sunday. I'm absolutely DREADING going in today and I'm getting all anxious over it. Should I find a job someplace else?

My tenants are two weeks late. The rent is being paid by a company they work for and I haven't received rent. They insist the money will be paid, but that the owner of the company is sick. When do you push the panic button? This is month 2 of a 10 month lease.

Me and my boyfriend were coming home last night and saw this HUGE 2-4 inch brownish spider sitting on the wall by our steps.

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z282/zaje712/DSCN0833.jpg

Does anyone know what this spider is? Is this grounds to IMMEDIATELY leave the premises? We have an estimated move-out date is 10/1, but my landlords may try to keep us until 10/15... I don't want to be here anymore!!!! If you look at my previous questions, I have been trying to figure out what to do with this landlord-tenant stuff, and I feel as though this is just another thing to add onto our list of horrors. Please tell me what this spider is and if you know - CAN WE USE THIS TO MOVE??? Can I report them if it gets out of hand?? Please help THANKS!!!

Now that I've made it through college and established myself in my career and financially, I am looking at various investment and donation opportunities. For personal reasons, I do not want to simply make charitable donations to an organization. One thing that does strike my interest is establishing a scholarship and awarding it to a student attending the college that I went to. What are the potential tax benefits of this type of donation? Would it be comparable to simply donating to a recognized charity for tax write-off purposes?
