Does anyone know...If You buy a condo do they usually allow pets in the communities?

There's no standard answer. Some do, some don't, and you'd have to check on the restrictions for each condo you are considering.

They usually do because you're actually buying the condo as opposed to renting it. As an owner, you have a greater measure of flexibility as to what you can and cannot do in your living space. It's not like an apartment where you pay rent and put down a deposit and then have to try and get the deposit back when you move out. The only time I have seen condos that don't take pets are those in exclusive, gated communities (and some of them allow pets anyway). Best bet is to ask before you buy.

From my experience not the condos that have carpeting throughout, and they usually have a list of dogs that you can and cannot have. Depends on the Condo Association terms.

Depends on the owners of the condo and the homeowners associations that are related to that particular community.

It just depends on each condo community.
Sometimes they have a weight restriction like 25 lbs. Mine has no restrictions at all, only that we have to keep ours leashed when outside.
