I just got a job selling a healthcare plan and get paid by commission so I wanted to go house to house and just leave either brochures or door hangers but what should I do?

I could just stick the brochures in the side of the door and it is good they can have more information on them but door hangers are cheaper I don't know what to do?

I made a lot of mistakes in my early 20s, got involved with drugs and messed my life up completely. I have been completely clean for 5 years now. During the bad era I accumulated 20,000 dollars of debt from car to credit to apt rental. I know they're all delinquent by now because these are all around 5 years ago.

I want to restart my life now and do the right things, what should I do? Who should I contact for help? I've since moved out of state, I didn't keep in touch with the previous creditors, so they havn't been able to contact me. I'm not even sure if they've tried to sue me or anything. I've been too scared to look at my credit report. I probably have the lowest possible score, whatever that amount is.

Thank you in advance.

If both parties have bank accounts, mutual funds, annuities, stocks and other investment accounts, how do the courts divide them 50-50%?
1. Each account is split 50-50% ? Or they add up the cash accounts and divide by two ?
2. Do the courts write a letter to the financial institutions and ask them to send half the amount to the other party, or to the court ?
3. Fifty percent split is effective on the day of the court order, the day the judge signed the papers of the day the finacial institutions receive the papers ?
4. Are the stocks sold or just divided ?
5. etc. etc.
Answer only if you have first hand knowledge, (or you know a website where I can check) please ! Thanks

I haven't researched this, but I can write a credit card check for the total purchase price of a car I'm looking at, fixed APR of 3.9 percent until paid off, with a $199 transaction fee. At first glance, this seems like a no-brainer.

I got a rebate check today for my internet equipment; however, since the phone service is in my mother's name the check was sent to her.
Usually I deposit my checks in my bank account. Is it possible for me to deposit the check in my account if she signs it?

If you own a business you obviously are going to write off a lot of things and you have to have your receipts right? Well how does the IRS check ALL your receipts? I mean you could have thousands, how do they check all of them and what steps do they take? You could ealisy have a lot of bogus receitps too, how could they tell?

I am changing careers at age 43 due to unfortunate health
issues. I am a single woman with no spouse, no savings and no help during the past 6 months with bill paying. I have now found myself in quite a mess with my finances. My past credit score was excellent (high above average) & in the last 6 months it has dropped to fair (below average). It is very hard for me to make financial decisions & any advice would be helpful. My 1st idea & thought is to downgrade my SUV, hoping that in-turn it will allow a much lower mnthly payment. I have 1 year left before my truck is paid off, however, the payment is so high I will not be able swing the payments for the next 10-12 mnths. My bank will NOT refinance my auto & I'd rather not have a repo on my credit. I can't afford to get professional finacial advise, so I look forward to any suggestions. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for your input. Sincerely, Im (Clueless):)

I understand on how important the credit score is when applying for an unsecured loan, a home, financing a car or trying to get a credit card but why is it a factor for job consideration? So any Human Resource people and/or Hiring Managers care to respond and explain why a person's credit score even comes into play?

I work with a company that finances equipment and I have brought in a bunch of deals but there job is to close them. I call and call and call and they are supposed to close the deal after I set up the call. I have brought in an endless array of calls and the lady that is supposed to close them is horrible. She has closed maybe 4 deals out of 45 calls set up. Now she is telling me that my attitude is the reason I don't have more calls for her to close. I have been there for six months and I am going insane. It is commission only. Should I bail?

I am aggressively searching for a job. My background is great, I have lots of experience, computer literate (94% Excel, 98% PowerPoint, 99% Word). I am an intermediate web designer (HTML, CSS, DHTML, and JavaScript. My English is not native but my last grammar/spelling text I scored a strong 98/96 respectively. 59wpm typing. I have a BA in Arts and I’m going for my second degree. I speak 3 languages. I am not clueless about my looks, I am very careful about that. I dress professionally and I have a polished look. I am not asking for a fortune as far as salary goes. I get good Companies interviewing me, yet I can get the job. What am I doing wrong? Maybe because I don’t talk too much? How do you behave during an interview??? What makes you get the job???

After you have paid off your dept. How long after will you have good credit if you continue to pay everything on time? ( Please be specific on years.) Also were in collection for 3 things but they all are paid off now. Once you get good credit, will landlords not allow you to stay because of your credit history? If yes, could explaining that you were learning the values of a dollar during that time convince them to let you stay? If no, is it all based on your credit score?

One of my co-workers is stealing. This person works the bar and is taking cash. For example: Selling 4 beers charging for them but only entering 2 sales into the register. I have personally witnessed this. What do I do, just let it continue and hope the boss catches this person or let the boss know? I'm stymied. I would appreciate any suggestions from you folks.
