How do you answer the question, "How do you plan and organize your work?" I get that question all the time. I know what my answer is, but I would like to hear other peoples answers. Information is knowledge. Thanks!

How should I hand in my resume along with my cover letter? Do I just staple them together and give it in or what? Or do I get a three ring folder and hole punch my resume and cover letter?

I recently opened an account with a bank because they said they would give me $100 if i opened an account and used direct deposit. There is no way they would give me $100 if they didnt get anything out of it. So how do they make money?

My father-in-law passed away. He left a home to my wife worth abought $400,000.00. It has a mortgage with about a $26,000.00 pay-off,and a $530.00/mo. payment.Should she tell the mortgage company about his passing, and just continue making the payments? What about getting a loan to refurbish the home if she decides to improve, or sell the home?

I am interested in starting my own Consulting company.

I would like to start an at home consulting firm, being a non-biased mediator for companies.

For example, I know there are consultants out there that companies have that are free. But more often than not they do the same cookie cutter type problem solving.

I would like to come in with my knowledge of working in different companies ( I’ve been a contract worker for years with various companies and work environments) with different people, and recommend a more human one on one approached between management and employee.

What I would like to know is how do I get started? How do I get my foot in the door?

Thanks in advance

I'm helping my Dad make up a new resume. He has worked for the same place for 13 1/2 years. The job before this last one has nothing to do with the jobs he is applying for now. About 20 or more years ago he had a job in the industry that he is applying for now. Should he put some place he worked 20 years ago on there. He has plenty of experience, but he has always stayed with the same company for such a long time. Any thoughts would be very helpful. Thanks

I already have a business. It is growing and soon to be smoothly operating without me. I want to venture into something else (a coffee shop) however, I have no idea about this market but I have some cool ideas that I think would make it great. I just don't know what it take to start it though. Help me please.

SORRY FOR ALL CAP LETTERS, SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY PC.
I HAVE OPENED MY OWN SALON LATELY, I PRINTED OUT FLYERS WITH PHOTO OF L'OREAL'S HAIR MODEL.
I DID NOT DISTRIBUTE THEM YET. I'M AFRAID THAT L'OREAL COMPANY WILL SUE ME FOR ILLEGAL USE OF THEIR PICTURE. BUT I DO SALE THEIR PRODUCTS AND USE THEIR COLOR PRODUCTS. THE PHOTO IS FROM THE BOOKLET THEY GIVE ME.
I'M SO CONFUSED NOW, I HAVE ALREADY SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS ON PRINTING THE FLYERS WHICH I DON'T KNOW IF I'M ALLOWED TO DISTRIBUTE OR NOT. I REALLY SHOULD OF THINK OF THIS BEFORE I PRINTED OUT ANYTHING. SHOULD I ASK L'OREAL FOR THE PRICE OR DISGARD ALL THE FLYERS, PRINT SOMETHING ELSE? ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELP. THANKS A LOT.

Do you expect the US dollar to weaken further? If other countries move away from the US dollar what will this mean for the long term? Will things be more expensive for Americans? Won't the US debt be harder to pay off? Any thoughts welcome.

My father-in-law owns a towing business. So they get to keep whatever is in the cars that people don't come back to pick up. Right now there is a huge garage full up just junk and it's in the way. I've organized it but there is so much stuff it's just over flowing..My mother-in-law refuses to throw stuff away...So, I had an idea of opening a 2nd hand store...There are tons of clothing, tools, sport equipment, toys, books, etc...I could sell...but I do not know what I would need to do to open a 2nd hand store to sell all this stuff!!!

My credit is poor and it has been at a stand still for at least 4 yrs now. I had 2 accounts that went bad when my financial situation changed so they were cancelled and now I do not have open credit accounts and cannot qualify for new ones! What can I do? I know about secured cards and that is something I am looking into but what else can I do? Do cell phone companies report to credit bureaus? Any ideas????

I recently recieved some of those balance transfer checks from my credit card company for 3.99% until the balance is paid in full. There would be a $75 fee. My auto loan is 7.2%, would it be a good idea to use that check to pay off my $12,000 auto loan so I could have the lower interest rate?
