How should I hand in my resume along with my cover letter? Do I just staple them together and give it in or what? Or do I get a three ring folder and hole punch my resume and cover letter?

Keep in mind that the company is going to make copies and give them to everyone in the interview process. So, make it easy for them to do this. Put it on very good quality paper, and use a small binder clip, instead of a staple. Include your cover letter inside the binder clip. Put this note at the bottom of the cover letter ...

Do not use the 3 hole binder. Every employer will need a copy for themselves and do not want you to give them more work to do by copying it.

Do not staple the two together. Staples are a pain, especially if they need to make copies or want to only keep the resume. If you are handing them to someone who is not going to look it over as soon as you give it to them, put them in an envelope with the name of the person or department You want to see it printed on the outside of the envelope/

Make sure it's on resume paper. Don't do the folder thing. a staple is fine, or a manila envelope. Don't fold it.
