I have an assistant who started in Feb. of this year. She worked really well up until around June 1, right about the time she had her last review, which was excellent, and receiving a significant raise with bonuses. Since then she has been late, doesn't take initiative, complains about little things, and ahs become critical.
My question is for employers out there, do you see a drop in performance after a good review or a raise? If so, what are steps to take to get your employee back on track.

Traditionally, buyers' agents get paid a percent of the sale price of a home. Therefore, just like sellers' agents, they have intrinsic incentive to ensure a high sale price. Also just like sellers' agents, buyers' agents make more money the faster they sell homes (because then they can sell more homes & earn more commissions per any given unit of time). Since homes with many weaknesses don't sell as high or as fast as homes with fewer, buyers' agents (like sellers') have intrinsic incentive to withhold negative information about the homes they show to potential buyers. Real estate professionals promise to honor a "fiduciary duty" to their clients that requires them to put their clients' interests even above their own interests, but (call me a cynic!) I'll bet that in practice, a fair percentage of real estate professionals adhere to that pledge rather loosely at best. How can I retain a buyer's agent on an untraditional contract that aligns his/her interests with mine as a buyer?

I live in mississippi and the collector said he could legally speak to me about it, my hubby has not authorized this. The thing is i am not on the account and he is telling me when the last time my hubby made a payment, and how much is past due. He told me our credit will suffer (i am not on the account) He constantly calls and tries to get me to pay the debt or tell him i will give him such and such amount by the end of the month. Will someone who knows mississippi law please help me?

In this crazy world (don't lecture me unless you're rich)
every penny truly does count, what with rent, car payment, car insurance, phone bill, excise tax, cable, and other amentities.......not including student loans or even credit card bills, even making considerable average or decent salary full time doesn't ensure you'll have much to save or to use as discrectionary.

I want to budget, only thing is I get paid only twice a month.

I want to get a part time job but what places will allow a 27 year old to work 15 hours per week? Don't say restaurant....

I work hard at my full time job......so no patronizing responses from you "I grew up fast when I was 16" crap.

Thank you.

I've tried contacting them over and over, and they insist they are going to come pick it up. Do I legally own the stuff since it's been so long? Should I fill out some kind of paper work? I'd rather not get a lawyer if at all possible.

My landlord put a judgemnent agaisnt me I had paid the judgement to them at the office she said she will let the courts know and take care of it. I just ran a credit check on me and I saw that this was showing not paid I called the clerk of courts about this and the rep said they did not get anything from them saying I paid this. I still have the receipt but is there anything I can do to the landlord for not telling the courts I paid this. When I called the landlord about this she said she will take care of this in a day or two.

I am looking into buying a bar. A bar is a cash business in many ways and therefore what will a 5 year audit from an accountant show me? In this due dilligence process what else can be done to be sure I am making a good deal. I have all the tax records for five years, the equiptment is priced and valued, and I have a decent sales and proffit log. What else can I do? This is a difficult investment but I think this bar can do far more business then it does as the entire upstairs is not being used, any tips would be great!!!
