Hopefully your employer doesn't have monitoring software, or you will be getting a lot of rest. Like due to being fired.

Hey, I have been there! Caffiene will keep you awake but you'll still be hopelessly bored and unengaged. I say, figure out what you passion is and find a job doing that. Keep in mind that if you follow your passion, it will take care of you, so don't be afraid to jump ship because you may not be able to pay the rent. I can assure you, that your passion will take care of you.
Good luck!

Is this from insufficient sleep or does this happen all the time? Excessive daytime sleepiness could be a sign of a sleep disorder. I experienced that for yrs. until I found out I have narcolepsy. If you are diagnosed with a sleep disorder, there is medication that will help you control it.

Oh I'm having the same problem as you & have been struggling all day. Pretty much the only thing I've found to help is to stand up outta the chair, stretch & then walk around for a bit....whether it's to go get a drink or whatever. I don't drink coffee (blech!!) & soda does nothing for me cause I take after my mom....caffeine puts her to sleep instead of waking her up.

Drink some Diet coke and eat some protein like a hamburger. Don't eat carbs like bread. They make you sleepy.
