We are considering buying land in Vermilion, Ohio. The land used to be a large farm, which is being divided into 30 lots 2-3 acers in size. The people who buy the lots are free to pick any builder that they choose. The lots are fairly priced, but I would like to try to negotiate lower. Can I offer a lower price like I did when I bought my current house? What else should I keep in mind?

I live in Wisconsin. The average house costs $150G's (on the high side). My pastor says building a new church would cost $1Mil to build with all the overhead. I just can't fathom how that could be with all the volunteers and available property we have. My church is being split in two because so many can't see why either.
.
Fact 1: They want about 10 Acres to build on.
Fact 2: They need it to be visible. (signs and location)
Fact 3: We are in a mostly rural area (town of 4,000 pop.)
.
Is there anyone who can tell me why a church of about 200 would have to build a sanctuary for $1 Mil? and what is the cost surrounding that? I need a website here that will give me figures.

I make 98 dollars every two weeks from my unemployment checks and now I make 7.50 an hr. I work about 20-25 hrs a week, will I still collect?

What will happen If I dont report this?

Hi,
Is there any advantage to using an FHA loan if I have 20% for a down payment? I've heard that the rates can be lower and refinancing is easier with an FHA. Are there any other advantages?

Also, do most banks these days offer FHA, or do I need to go to a special lender?

This is a quote from a bankruptcy judge in New York. Any comments?

When McDonald's started to allow people to use credit cards instead of paying cash, the average sale went from $4.75 to $7. Need I say more?"

His point was that it wasn't painful to spend the extra money because it didn't really hit the McDonald's customers in their wallet right away.

Ok so me and my husband bought a house together about two years ago it was old and not perfect but we had all these dreams of fixing it up...well that never happened, could never afford it. Well then my husband joined the army and we are based in germany, we both know we will never live there again and we just want to get it sold (the mortgage is killing us) but we have had it on the market forever and it hasn't budged, we cant lower the price any, cause we are already selling it for just what we owe and we can't afford to fix it up any (plus we are in another country and can't be there to do anything) so does anyone have any suggestions on how we can wash our hands of this house before it forcloses on us?

Who was the moron who thought of the section 8 idea. Why didn't i become a low-life and take the easy way out by not working and simply sit on my @$$ all day and let the gov't establish me in a nice n'borhood.

What was the poitn of this? When I bought my house eight years ago, I wanted to live in a nice n'borhood. There were strict policies at the time. Now, it almost looks like the working families are lost in the shuffle and hard to distinguish from those who don't do $hit!

It involves trading cards with other players. The cards contain items like wheat, soybeans, flax, etc. In addition, there is a bull and a bear card. I just realized the other day that this game is somewhat modeled after futures trading. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this game.

I am from Chicago and I am investing in East Indian reality. With a guaranteed 60% return after 3 years. I am looking for Investors from all over the world .Depending on the amount of money pooled I will buy the real estate property in the fastest growing Indian cities. I will provide all the details of the deal from the documents to the pictures and videos of the property. I will give you the geographic location(Google satellite link) of the property showing the distances from the upcoming Govt. projects.
The real estate business is rising at an alarming rate. Believe me the economy of this country is still young and there is a big future awaiting for investors in India. I know you understand about what I am saying, but you might have wondered how could I guarantee that return. OK here is the answer, If I get 100% return after 3 years, how risky will it be to return 60% of it?

SO MY QUESTION OVER HERE IS HOW AND WHERE COULD I GET THE INVESTORS??

I was sent a letter from Capital one saying I am approved for an autoloan up to 30k. They gave me the name of some local participating dealer to go to between the 28th and 30th. I called the number to confirm the pre-approval number and it's some automated capital one number. The numbers 18006859508 and approval number is 451320233.

It says I can walk in there with no money down and own a car that day from Deal Maker Ford in Liverpool NY. All I have to do is bring income proof and a utility bill along with my drivers license and insurance to drive a new car home.

This is almost to good to be true. My credit score is only in the mid 600's so I never thought I'd qualify for anything like this.

I have been a customer of capital one for 2 years with a $500 credit card limit thats in good standing.

I have applied for a loan of 160,000.00. Approved for 30 year fixed @ 6.75%, 10 yr interest only + (including taxes, insurance, haz-insurance). I am pleased about the payment. What do you think about this? This is a new build. Equity will be on the rise in 2008-2009.
Only serious advice, please. No offense to others. Thanks

about an internship I did this summer. I have the following main headings as sections: Objective, Education, Professional Experience.

I was trying to think of of a title for another section in which to put these additional experiences/certificates. I was thinking "Related Experience & Skills".

I would appreciate some ideas on heading titles, and do you think it should come after "Education" and before "Professional Experience" or at the end of the entire resume?
