I know it seems like I am some naive teenager, but it seriously has come the time to choose what career i want to follow which means it affects what college i choose to attend. I am really interested in science, more in biology and nutrition but history is a favorite topic of mine as well. I was just wonder what career path should i choose that will guarantee open doors for a job and well, a good pay check.

I know money is important, but you will spend 1/3 of every day at work, and a good paycheck won't mean much if you are unhappy in what you are doing.. or working just for the money.. my advice is to listen to your heart, think about what you want to spend your days doing, what you enjoy, what you are passionate about...look for fulfillment and meaning and the money will follow.. it is better to be happy than rich, than rich and unhappy! And don't think long-term.. what is it you want to do NOW with your life.. that is what you need to do
Best of luck!

You sound like a smart, realistic person.
There are so many types you jobs that youcan do with biology.IF you are interested in that field, I would go that route. You can be a research Associate, pharmaceutical or medical devices sales person, nutritionist, go into hospital management, work in marketing for a biotech company, work in Human resources for one of those firms, be a clinical reserach associate- where you travel a lot to different hospitals (very well paid)... etc. You can always continue history as a hobby, but don't sell yourself short on career opportunities. I would recomment sticking with biology because it gives you a skill/knowledge that companies need more and more of. Very few need the history.sorry.
