I think a flat tax is as fair as it gets, doesnt matter if u make 1,000,000 a yr or 12,000 its in no way shape or form the gov. job to play robin hood. the excuse that it hurts the poor is a bunch of B.S. with a simple tax code and flat tax everyone would benifit. Is it the socialist take from the rich give to the poor mentality that keeps this from happening. The way i see it the rich dont pay taxes and the middle class have to pick up the slack as well as give to the poor.

I am experiencing a similar problem with email to that I have with phone numbers, I don't know how to organize and use them. I have a personal account at gmail.com, and one with my name in at gmail.com, this would be my business email. However, would this look unprofessional? My main problem is that I would be starting more than one company and be involved in several projects. These would all have different company names, so I couldn't really use myname@somecompany for a different company to that one. I don't want to have a different address for all my companies though. So, which address should I use? Also, what address should I use to contact suppliers before my first company is in existence? I am very confused, can any one offer any advice? Also, I want to get this email on my phone.

My wife and I will be closing on our home in 2 weeks. We have already put a 30 days notice in to our landlord. The landlord states that she has a problem with our 30 days notice because we will be moving in the middle of July instead of July 1st. When we signed the lease to the apartment, it states that we only have to give a 30 days notice. It did not specify what time period we have to move. If we move before our 30 days, we will lose the deposit which we need to purchase things in our new home. Is there anything we can do if she does not accept our 30 days notice?

I'm 19 and want to find a job that leads towards that field. Where do I go? Is there a job in a real estate office I can do without a license? Or something anything that goes towards REI.

I am a stay at home mom. I used to work in a bakery and if I return to work now I will start at the bottom of the pay scale and I can't afford that. At this point I am better off staying at home because any money that I make will have to pay for day care. I would like to find something that I can possibly do from home that will bring in some extra cash.

Is it required to provide your Social Security number on job applications? I usually put it on there, but if I had the option, I wouldn't.

Once someone decides to allow forecloser to occure are they at any way finacially responcible for the property? Someone told me that when the property is foreclosed on that the bank would sell it at a low price and the previous owner would still be responsible for the balance . Say they purchased at 70,000.00 and it was foreclosed on and sold for 20,000.00 the previous owner would be sued for 50,000.00. Is that true and does the previous owner need to go bankrupt?

I'm fourteen, and this summer I'm working as a counselor at a local summer camp. This is my first time officially working. I'm a bit confused about the W-4 paper. It has to do with tax returns, I know that. But do I have to do anything differently because I am a minor? And can somebody please explain to me all of the math?

Thank you.

So here's the thing...Toys R Us hired me on May 29... and today is June 17 and I haven't worked a single day yet. Heck, I haven't even been trained yet. After they do get me trained, it will officially have been a month since they hired me to actually get me on the job. They always say they'll call me and they never do. Once I was helping my bf do some yard work and they called me (the only time they ever did call me) to come in for orientation. I stop what I was doing, drove home (which is 30 minutes away), took a shower and got cleaned up, drove to Toys R Us (which is 10 minutes away), signed papers for 15 minutes, and then went home... So much for "orientation". They say they need me really bad... but they're not doing anything.
Anyway, my old job offered me a good deal yesterday and I decided to take it... I will start working at the end of this week. So I need to quit Toys R Us... but the thing is I haven't even worked there yet and I don't know what I am supposed to do. Help me!

I had knee replacement surgery and, after many months of pain, the doctor discovered that the knee cap had moved down and to the side of where it should be. The second surgery was a success but I don't feel that I should have to pay the co-pay fee for surgery that was needed only because the first one was not done correctly.

I hear the fed puts interest on all the money it loans. Which is basically all the money in the entire country, therefore a perpetual debt that is impossible to pay off.
I hear ALL of our income tax goes straight to paying off the interest (debt) generated by the fed. I also hear our income tax gets divied up amongst certain programs. Can it be possible both are true at the same time?
If the government has to pay for programs, uses our income taxes for it....what pays back the interest levied on the money loaned out by the fed to begin with? They could just SAY it goes to certain programs, which it might, but the end result is that it ends up being the same amount that is going back to the fed to pay off the interest. Such as if in reality you owe Johnny (the fed) 1$, but you pay Uncle Sammy (IRS) 1$ so he can pay it to Johnny's interest for borrowing 2.85$ on something (all programs claimed to be paid directly by income tax) that's already been paid for through other taxes.
