im selling a metal detector on ebay but i dnt know how much the postage and packing would be any idea thanks

Have a look on Ebay to see if anyone else is selling one and see how much they are charging. You could also check out th Royal Mail website or take it along to your post office and ask them to weigh it and calculate the postage for you.

Thats why you should take the box to the Post office, get it weighed and ask for an estimate.
But it will help if you know which country it will be going to.
So get an estimate for Europe, (EU,) Non-EU , USA etc...etc..

depends on how much it weighs and the length of the box you use. Oh and don't forget how also add in the insurance you will add for extra secure coverage. I am thinkig about $40.00

You should first know the weight of your package add 2 more lbs to that weight and go to the USPS or UPS or whatever carrier you want to, and go to calculate and that's it, to that amount add your the money you want for packaging
