I'm 16, about to turn 17 (not that that matters) and have yet to look for a job. As time moves on I've come to realized the world doesn't run on rainbows and lollipops and that some cash would be nice. I'm not too enthusiastic about finding a job, as I am still on the fence as to whether or not I even want one, and I don't feel like wasting my time for peanuts an hour. So what's the best way to get a job for some raggedy teenage with no previous experience and shaggy hair? On a side note, I have good social skills and good motivation.

I manage 5 young woman with personality conflicts. One is resistent to a team concept. Two hate each other. One is a telecommuter. We are extremely busy and the work is time sensitive. We are all in new positions, 2 are new, and the other 3 of us have been with the company several years and have all 3 "moved" up recently. Any ideas?

Since the after school tutor program session is only from Nov-May, are tutors allowed to receive unemployment during the summer months?

I received a seasonal job through a temp service. The company liked me and decided to bring me back permanently after my temp assignment had ended. The agency found out and is giving my enployer the option of either paying a fee ($1600 for 350 hours owed) or allowing me to return to work under the agency. Is it a violation of my 13th Amendment rights to be forced to work indirectly through the agency (thus removing my benefits)? And does the company really owe anything, since the assignment was seasonal and temporary from the beginning, and I was only asked to stay after the temp term had ended?

Is there any organizations that help people in need? this is an odd one. I have a friend in Oklahoma her Son graduated 2 years ago as the Valadictorian of the class (not sure how to spell that one) he is not going to school because he and his family need him to work, he is working to pay for his truck and his braces When I talked to his Mom yesterday I said Cory REALLY needs to go to college, but she is like Weeeeelllllll he has a good job working in the meat department and they just gave him a $1.00 an hour raise, and he is helping pay for his oral surgery and braces and making his truck payment. they live in a very rural area, he needs a vehicle and the nearest college is over an hour drive over the mountains. Is there anywhere to go for help for a kid that will totally always work in the meat department if he does not get help>>>> this happens All the time to RURAL KIDS work is more important than school and this is for the top honors kids of the class,

I was being pressured at work w/unnecessary interruptions during busiest time of day. Threatened to walk out and got emotionally upset. Mother is very ill and stress got to me. Boss said "whatever makes you happy" when I said I was leaving. Not suited for job anyway (more experienced than job requires and used to being in professional setting - not setting I am in.) Went back to work next day. Boss under stress too and seemed surprised to see me.She had recruited me. Big boss understanding. Don't want to quit without another job. Have I messed up forever? Should I just go back Monday and continue to work hard as I have always done? Do I owe anyone ANOTHER apology? I have already said I am sorry. Need some advice.

Thanks.

my dad gave me some money (a LOT of it) during Sept - Dec. of 2005. then he got his boxers in a wad and said he didn't, this year (two days ago) he sent me a Misc. Income form from his company. Wouldn't he have had to do that when I filed my taxes in 2006 for me to claim it? or do i have to claim it this year?

I have been stressed since i found out at work my bf cheated with another co-worker and now they are getting married,he strung me along and i believed his lies about his 'daughter' moving in. People at work found out after i told a couple of people, the next thing i know everyone knows. I drank some alcohol the morning i had to go in work and face things when i was called in the office,my so called bf was sitting there with the two managers and i ended up so angry i swore, cried, and went to hit him,i think the alcohol made it worse and now i'm worried i embarassed myself because i was talking on and on to the two managers after but i cant remember what i was saying,i feel like he's won and he laughed at me the whole time. How can i get over this?(i havent got fired btw).

My house has been on the market for 2 weeks. I am starting to wonder if I am making a mistake! I don't know if this is a normal feeling or is it really that I'm making a big mistake. Me and my husband have done a lot of work in our home and compared to the properties out there, (in our price range) they need a lot of work. I love my home, I just don't like the area and I have a small yard. Which I would love to have a big yard for summer bar.b.q.'s and get a pool. I have read the contract, there is nothing that states anything about the seller changing their mind. And the agents fee is 6% of the sale price. If there is any agents or brokers out there who can give me advice or if this is a normal feeling, please let me know. Me and my husband have lived here with our two children for almost 12 years. So we really do concider this "home" both of my kids are all for the move. Please help! Thanks!

Today if you are under the age of 30 you may never see social security and yet you will pay 7-8% of all your earnings into this federal payroll TAX. Don't we have a right to invest this money ourselves. We can do it if we are given the chance!
