I'm not sure the difference between selecting the credit or debit option, I know that if I select credit the transaction will still go through without me having the proper funds in my account. My question is if i select debit and dont have the enough money in my account to cover it will it be approved or declined?

This past year I decided I wanted to start a business (photography). I've only purchased a few things and haven't made any money yet. Can I claim what I purchased as a deduction? Do you have to have a Tax Id number before you can do this? Do I have to file a seperate form (from my standard tax form)? - Thanks for the help!!!

My dad got offered a job that gets way more pay than he does now, we're not poor by any means, but it would still be a lot more money. The thing is the boss tends to stab people in the back, and my dad and the boss both have HORRIBLE tempers. What is your opinion? Is it too risky, or should he take the chance?

Annual salary: $40,000 ($3,333/month)

monthly debt: $165 (4.95% debt to income)

credit scores 671-725

$25,000 in savings (want to put 10% down and pay closing costs)

never any negative credit, but minimal history. credit accounts only open for about 2 years, never a late payment

I have heard all the guidelines of 2.5 times income and things like that, but i also know that banks will generally lend you alot more than that....so I want to know what you think is the max number that the bank will approve me for???

I have worked hard in the past year, and managed to raise my fico score to low 600.

I have only a few bills to pay off.
once I pay these off I will raise my score to get financing to invest in real estate.

Once I pay these off I could raise my score tremendously.
To do this I'm willing to pay a high interest rate.

Ae there any interested lenders?

My husband and I are a young couple with three children and we are looking into getting life insurance for ourselves other than the ones provided by our employers. What companies would you suggest we look at and what kind of policy do you think is more suitable for young adults and children?

Is Information Technology really that difficult to grasp? I've been in IT for several years. I had classes in college that would start the term with 300 students and as few as 30 of us would finish the class. My company has taken to hiring people from halfway around the earth to do this work. These are jobs that many people would consider good-paying jobs. So is it that Americans are incapable of learning to do this work or that they are just not willing to work that hard?
