I'm not sure the difference between selecting the credit or debit option, I know that if I select credit the transaction will still go through without me having the proper funds in my account. My question is if i select debit and dont have the enough money in my account to cover it will it be approved or declined?

if u use ur debit to take money out of ur checking, but u dont have enough in ur checking, then it could be declined, u dont have sufficent funds in ur account. but if u have overdraft protection, then u could have 0$ in ur checking account and use ur debit as much as u want. overdraft protection would take the funds out of ur savings for you. but u have to tell the bank to put u in overdraft protection, and its free.

It depends on whether you have overdraft protection on your checking account. If you do, the transaction will go through, then your back will charge you an overdraft fee.

It depends if your bank allows you to be negative. It mostly depends on your credit and the type of account you signed up for.
