At the hearing, the trustee for the bankruptcy said that my wife had to give her our refund checks from this years taxes. We filed jointly and were expecting a $7700 refund. Since I did not file Chapter 7 with her, can the trustee take all of the refund? Her lawyer never said this would happen. What should she do?

This past holiday, a non-profit I am affiliated with had a giving bank where we selected gifts for needy families. I bought a variety of things, kept the receipts, and also copied the tags of what I bought gifts for. I spent about $100.00 for the gifts I bought.,

The organization did not give me a receipt for the gifts I donated. Is it possible that I can claim a tax deduction for the items I bought?

Like, if you die and you've got children, do they pay for it?

I was thinking...couldn't it technically be extortion if you being an elderly citizen take out a reverse mortgage on your house and blow all the money. Then, when you die, you'll have no money and no equity in your house. Are your children stuck with the debt?

I need every penny I make NOW. If I put away $1000 every year until I'm 65, and I get REALLY, REALLY lucky with my investments, I "might" have $60K by the time I'm 65. That would give me $6000 a year until I'm 75....then what do I do? If I'm going to have to work until I'm 75 anyway, then hope I die before I hit 80....what's the point of investing money I can use NOW?

When I went back to work about 4 months ago I told them that I only wanted 4 days a week. They said it would be no problem. I didn't tell them why because it wasn't important concerning the hiring process. I'm a photographer with a nationally known portrait studio. I told my district manager, who does the schedules, two months ago about my health problems, an immune deficiency requiring infusions every two months, fibromyalgia and beginning stages of multiple sclerosis.

I was promoted to studio manager within a month of being hired, then they started scheduling me for 5 days a week, now I'm working 4 full days and 2 3/4 days a week. I told my DM that I couldn't work that much but she said that I had to because we were so short handed across the area and she didn't have anyone else to work.

This work schedule is making my health get rapidly worse. I was denied for SSD due because of my age not my health as my lawyers said. Do I have any protection under the ADA, and what should I do?

They keep moving my desk and now it's in the corner and my boss is even talking about moving me in the basement and suggesting I help take care the bug problem down there,

My boss keeps taking my stapler, my red swingline. Every day it's taken from me.

Hello everyone,
I can't quite seem to find it, but I remember I found a government webpage that had a HUUUUUUUUGE index of different jobs and would give information on what it meant to go into that field, what you'd be doing, what requirements you'd need, and the yearly incomes on average. I'd greatly appreciate any help because I know I want to go into the chemical field, but I want to see what sounds of most interest to me.
