When is a better time to buy some properties? Spring or now?

is there more supply in the spring? Also, with all the ARMs from 2001-2004 repricing higher from now until 2009, is it wise to invest in real estate?

NOW. It's harder to sell in the winter. In the spring, things are blooming, green, and pretty. People are more apt to purchase homes. In the winter, everything is bleak and cold, so houses are a harder sell. You'll have less competition and more desperate sellers.
