This question is for people who have had experience with different roommates. Is it rude or unusual for a new roommate to stay in their room all the time, even if the person is polite and nice when they pass you in the house or in other places? Or are some roommates like this all the time, even after sharing a your place a few months?

Im a RN, so I can provide excellent help along those lines.

I'm Marketing Director for my Company, so I can assist in marketing.

Or I can do whatever, as long as it is a real opportunity, and not a scam.

I have no 401K or pension plan through my job, although I do have a salary redirection agreement through AFLAC whereby my insurance premiums are deducted pre-tax, I believe. I'm just afraid that the W2 is wrong and I'm going to have problems down the road from the IRS. I've asked my employer about this and they did not know (We're a small company and I believe an outside firm does the W2 for them).

Heres the deal, I am never late with my payments, however with this card I never got a statement and it slipped my mind. Now I am getting charged an outragerous interest rate, whats my best way to explain to them that if I got the statement I would have paid it. Also do people have luck get the interest rate increase reserved or at least lowered if they were only a couple days late and always pay bills on time?

My husband, daughters, and I live in student (family) housing at Cal Baptist in Riverside CA. I just found out that at the end of the semester they are going to evict all the married couples because they want to have 4 or 5 students in these apartments so they can make more moeny off of them. Are they allowed to do this? Can you be evicted solely based on the fact that you are married? We don't have a lease though.

I don't mean something like taking surveys, or refering people, or posting on forums, where it certainly isn't enough to pay one's expenses. Nor do I mean online business, where money investments are required. I mean one that is trustworthy, like any where else one works in the job force. Certainly they can be created, but why are most only thinking about bricks and buildings?

My husband moved completely out of our home Sept. 20 last year. He is not the father of my 13-yr old child, I receive child support from her biological father. My estranged husband deserted us and does not assist me at all. He is not even in contact w/us at all, we don't even know where he lives. He left me to pay our $2300 pty taxes and my refund would be more than that, but way less if I don't file Head of Household to claim EIC. Am I allowed to file HOH and receive the Earned Income Credit?

I saw his paystub on his desk. The raise was $1,500 more than what I got on my 1yr review. I have worked at the company for 2 years. This is his 1st year. I have helped train him and other new employees. I am female he is male. He goes out socially with the boss. I don't. I complete more deals than he does. Our quality is about the same. He has the same background as I do. Just out of college. I have a more relavent degree to the job. Should I talk to my boss about it? My 2 year review is coming up in 2 months. I have a feeling no raise will come. There has been high turnover at this department. I have stayed the longest. I feel backstabbed!

I didn't file a MN return for 2005 because I didn't pay state tax because I used to be considered a nonresident (Active Military). They changed the law in MN (my legal state of residence) and it appears I had a refund coming to me. Am I still able to file a 2005 state tax return this late and collect the refund? How long do you legally have to file if you don't owe money or if you have a refund?
