Keep doing well in school, don't get in any trouble with the law and don't even do anything that might get you in trouble. They'll subject you to rigorous lie detector tests. Don't do drugs!

Sounds like you're on your way. My best friend from high school has been an FBI field agent for close to 25 years now. He majored in accounting at the University of Illinois. They like candidates with accounting backgrounds who can speak a second language, especially Arabic and Spanish. Good luck and yes, keep your grades up. They select only the best and my friend was a Sterling Merit Scholar as well as in the top ten academically.

They recruit from good schools like big ten or ivy league. You could also get an application. It helps to be studying political science, or basically pre-law. It's a legal career, so that's what they are looking for. Good grades, no criminal record, and good credit history will get you in.
