Work with a guidance counselor in the school to ensure your program of study will lead to being able to sit for RN boards. Be sure the classes you are taking will apply towards a transfer to a college with an RN program.

Go straight to the RN program. Understand there are sometimes 2 years of just prerequisites before you are even accepted into the clinical program.

Good luck
We certainly need more nurses!

I'd think that the associate's degree would be closest, and might lead to eligiblity to become an RN. But the advice to work with the guidance counselor is good advice.

Good luck.
