Overall what gender of boss have you found it more pleasant to work for.

I'm male and have really only had one female boss that I liked. The rest were like a girlfriend I would have dumped if I could.

Also state your gender for comparison.

Nearly 2 years ago my husband and I made the mistake of putting a stop payment on check for a used car that was a lemon. The dealer pressed charges and while we paid in full, as you can imagine words had been exchanged and they refused to drop the charges. Leaving him with a felony conviction. He has never been in trouble with the law prior to this his record was impeccable. Since, this occurance, he has not had any trouble. My husband is 41 years old and has a bachelor degree in business management and over 15 years of resteraunt management experience. We live in Ohio and and have two teenage daughters. I work from home and my job is it easy for me to move. We are willing to relocate if it means we can better our circumstance. He has been working as a hotel auditor for nearly two years and we just are not making it on $10/hr. He is very experience and everyplace that he has worked the employees really like his management style. Thank you!

I am philosophical, creative, and often unorthodox. I am interested in the larger-societal effect of policy and practice. I am working on a doctoral degree. Inevitably in my work environment, a power struggle occurs, even when I am completely submissive. I detect some jealousy and resentment by my fellow coworkers. I have many interests and abilities. I have worked in many different fields, yet I have not enjoyed the fruits of a linear career path. I only want to feel needed and appreciated within my work environment. Can anyone recommend a book or lend advice that would help me?

Then shouldn't we be allowed to pick the programs we personally support? I do not believe my husband should have to work an extra 20 hours per week to support through his taxes the co-habitating couple with 4 kids on government welfare-why should they get $2000 per month in food stamps and $800 housing allowance.

I would rather support breast cancer research, Autism and feed those truly hungry like hurricane victims..that is where my tax dollars should go.

We have a bankruptcy, repossession, and several charge offs 5 years ago. We are making payments on time now. Would it make the credit any better to go back 5 years and try to pay some charge offs? or should we just concentrate on keeping our present credit good? What else is there that we can do?

I already have two credit cards with Chase and Washington Mutual I just closed one out with U.S. Bank. I have both a checking and a savings account with WaMu but I don't like the agreement for the WaMu savings. They take $25 out of my checking every month. I just want a nice savings account where my money can grow with minimum fees and requirements. Any suggestions?

Are interest rates based on bank, or are they the same for all banks? I ask because on a local real estate website they have a "todays interest rates" section. Thats a little confusing to me, does that mean its the same no matter where you go?

Hello All!
My name is Alissa and 3 months ago I fell and fractured my arm, ultimately falling into the lap of state disability and recieving a mere two hundred every two weeks...
Just last week I phoned my employers to report that I am able to return to work and was told by the asst. clinic admin. that there were a handfull of new hires and basically my schedule had been deleted and I am now subject to being 'on call', since Saturday.
I am beyond upset, as I have rent and a ton of unpaid bills to start climbing out from under, and my question is--> don't I have the right to my schedule back or not?
