Nearly 2 years ago my husband and I made the mistake of putting a stop payment on check for a used car that was a lemon. The dealer pressed charges and while we paid in full, as you can imagine words had been exchanged and they refused to drop the charges. Leaving him with a felony conviction. He has never been in trouble with the law prior to this his record was impeccable. Since, this occurance, he has not had any trouble. My husband is 41 years old and has a bachelor degree in business management and over 15 years of resteraunt management experience. We live in Ohio and and have two teenage daughters. I work from home and my job is it easy for me to move. We are willing to relocate if it means we can better our circumstance. He has been working as a hotel auditor for nearly two years and we just are not making it on $10/hr. He is very experience and everyplace that he has worked the employees really like his management style. Thank you!

Has he tried applying and seeing what the general concensous is on the felony?? I'm sure that if he can get in the door somewhere to explain the charge, he would have a better chance.
Perhaps he needs to put the word out with old co-workers who know what a great worker he is. If they're still in the business, they can suggest him to thier current bosses.
Best of luck to you!

Pressed charges for not paying a debt? That's called ruining your credit, not a felony conviction. Did he run away with the car or something??

Anyway, I would probably not. He sounds like he may get a little fired up when faced with the wrong personalities.

merely with any activity, a legal is a legal is a legal. no one needs a guy or woman with a legal working with them. even with the undeniable fact that it is what you have performed on condition that to procure out of reformatory that employers may be prepared on.
