I did some research on this but most sources say things like: "it's all about being able to market your degree" and "there's many jobs one can get".

That can be said about all degrees, but realistically what can one hope for with such a degree? Like is there any job where I can present my resume, and have a good chance of getting a job?

If the cold hard truth is that I cant expect to find anything better than someone with a GED than say so. I appreciate honesty.

I make ok money but cant seem to ever get control over my money. I drive am old car dont wast money But at the end of the Mo I make 4k my bills should be around 3 k But cant pay them. I am always running last Min to pay. I have alway been behind in my Bills. I am getting sick over it!!!!!!!!! I dont Make Big Buck sBut work Hard every day . WHAT IS A GOOD RULE TO GET BACK ON TRACK? I was Laid Off and I cashed out my 401K for the full amount.I had all taxes withheld to prevent from having to pay taxes when I file.Does anyone know if there are any other fees or charges I will have when I file? Is there a special form for people who withdrawn due to job loss or layoff?

I currently live in Shreveport, Louisiana. But I wanna move to Houston, Texas before I graduate. Graduation is in December, but I'll be certified, as a Pharmacy Tech, this summer. A bill was sent with a total amount due, a check was returned to them with a note in the memo "paid in full", the check was for the entire amount, now they state that the billing was in error and are asking for more money, however they cashed the check with no dispute of the amount at the time of cashing. 30 days later they sent an additional bill for the same time period of service.

I have a small Internet business. Due to expansion, I decide to hire an assistant. Luckily, I found a very qualified candidate. The only problem is, when I asked 'why do you want to work here and what do you want to do 2 years from now?' Her answer is, I want to have the same business as you do. This makes me worry. I definitely do not want this employee to learn everything in 2 years, take all my resouces and then become my competitors. Although I can ask her to sign a contract for confidentiality and non-competition, I doubt whether that would work at all. I've heard stories like this from many other small business owners, where their employees left, stole clients list, open a business under whoever's name it is but is actually in control. What do you think? Will you hire someone who can probably make your life easier now, but then leave and took away all of the skills and knowledge and become a threat? Anything I can do?

According to someone I know who does accounting, they said that the money I invested in my business this year is not taxable. They said that since I loaned the money to the business as start up capital, it's not taxed if the business shows it as a loan repayment. So basically all the money I collected from the business last year would make my yearly income = $0 The business also had a net loss. So am I to understand that the IRS is not going to raise a huge red flag that I am claiming to have made no money in 2006? They said if I consider the money compensation then it would be taxed and the business would still owe me the start up cash. If it's shown as a debt repayment, it's not taxable.

I am wondering what time usually that you get your direct deposit payments from the Canadian government. I have been waiting for my maternity benefits for over 3 months and they finally said that on January 16, I would have money deposited into my account. Hi there. I have unfortunately come to the conclusion that my spouse and I are no longer able to remain married. My question is this, he has a large amount of money in a 403b I think it is. He is fully vested, and all of this money was earned during the marriage. In my state I understand that I am entitled to at least a portion of it, if not half. Does that mean that the account will be liquidated and I will recieve cash? I will need it to establish a new place to live. Thank you.
