My husband and I dont have the best of credit, we're trying to find a cheap apartment (most likely low income housing) will they most likely deny us? Or would we just have to pay a bigger deposit? Obviously people need places to live, so not all landlords can deny people with bad credit!

My husband and I plan on starting a small business in our small town. We plan on offering hoagies/sandwiches, pizza, salads (such as potato and macaroni), chips, soda and newspapers. Our last name is Burger so I thought that might be catchy, but we won't be offering burgers! I'd like a catchy name. Any ideas?

I go to Bentley College, a small business school near Boston that has strong finance/accounting programs. I am looking to break into investment banking when I graduate. However, I feel at a huge disadvantage because I do not go to a prestigious university.

Each year, big i-banks such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and JP Morgan hire college graduates with only a bachelors degree from the likes of Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and even some non-Ivies like Carnegie Mellon. I am not one of those people. However, I do boast a very good GPA and plan on getting a finance internship this coming summer.

With that said, how are my chances of landing a position at one of the big investment banks in NYC? And if they are indeed low, what can I do to obtain that type of position without an MBA? Remember, I am looking to break in with just a B.S. in finance, but without the brand name.

Well it starts off as.. I gave up a awsome job I had at Lowes I was about to move up in the company when my father called me to tell me he has stage 4 lung cancer and asked if I would move back home to help him take care of my mom that has alot of health problems so I did.. less then a year later I ment the man of my dreams online we ment in person got married I moved to the Netherlands to be with im HATED it there Im back trying to get a job to help him move over I cant seem to find a job here that wants to pay much Im running out of out idea's I was thinking about going back to school but I worry about that too... I dont have any college background... so I feel all I have is cashiering.. and I want more... I want something I make money. and help my husband get over here sooner.. I miss him soo much hes a awsome man... please give me ideas or something Im freaking out and starting to feel hopeless.. Im sick of things going wrong! :(

I've been working at a factory for a month and I work with a lot of men. I sort of became friends with one of the guys that is 20 years older then me but strictly just friends at work. He's married and has a kid so I don't take it passed work. He has started to say things to me such as I will miss you, and he's even asked me out to dinner on a few occasions. I have told him no. Then I confronted him through texting and told him that if he is telling me these things not as a friend then there is a problem. He finally spilled out to me that he is falling for me. I told him he's wrong he has a wife and we cant be friends, nemore he needs to lose my number. Then he asked me if its wrong to fall in love even though he loves his wife. I used the excuse im a lesbian to get him off my case. And now hes saying the reason he told me all those things is tofind out himself if I really was lesbian because eople are talkingabout me at work. Should I report this? I think now he will tell everyone.

I gave my mother my apartment, this is in the state of California , Btw and now she was served with a summons, a five day summons, and the manager wants her to pay all the late fees that's been accumualted by the eviction fees that the owner have to pay....is that legal...plus, now even though I moved out..they have me on the summons paper' so if she' doesn't pay an eviction will be on my record..
