I am a Brazilian citizen and I want to legally move to US. One way to do that is to start a business employing at least 10 people. The only thing is that I do not know anyone in US to be my partner.

More specifically, a Roth IRA.

I need to find out if there's a difference in the various companies that offer IRA's. I assume it depends on where the money will be invested once in the IRA account. Are mutual funds the place to look for my IRA money then???

I am 19, I do sales and I make $10 an hour, plus commision, about $40 a day. Unfortunately, I live 30 miles away, and I drive a large SUV, I spend about $100 on gas weekly. I like the job, but I have to be there every morning at 7 a.m, its kind of taken over my life. I spend about 1 and a half hours commuting everyday because of heavy traffic. I am always in the top bracket of sales, if not number 1, and I am very consistent. I can sell anything, even ice cubes to an eskimo.

I am moving out on my own in the next few weeks. I had a certain amount of money made into my budget, the company is expanding, and the sales might get dry, and I might become broke.

I was up for a managing job, against a 22, and 21 year old who have been here longer. The married 22 year old got it, and she deserved it.

Should I ask for a rasie, I am very dependable, and consistent?? Or should I look for a better paying job closer to where I live??

My friends dad gave me a job in a time of need but after the first couple of weeks now i'm realizing that i hate it! i hate everything about it and i've been in tears after leaving work the past couple of times. it's just a hostess job at a nice restaurant and i would normally just quit but i promised my friends dad, one of the managers, that i would give a two weeks notice. i've never actually done one before and i'm not sure as to what i should say in the letter, would much prefer a letter vs. talking with anyone ( they can all be pretty mean). i wanna tell them in some way that it's just not the job for me, any advice?

TYCO Food (TXN) went about 10% or so right after announcing terrible earnings in mid-November. And many analysts have been downgrading the stock since the fall. Can anyone tell me what is going on? I cannot find any reason why it would go down unless there is takeover speculation.
