I am receiving about $32,000.00 from my father's estate. I will be paying off a student loan for my wife of about $10,000.00. I really want to invest the rest as I am not in need of it. Relativley inexperienced with investing. I have also thought about putting $1,000.00 in penny stock GDLB. What do you think?

I'm going out on my own and starting my own business. Now is a good time since I no longer have any clients (since I have a 6 week old) so it won't be a conflict of intrest to leave and start my own business. Anyway . . . I plan to offer many services for new and expecting mothers. From childbirth education to post-pardum care, newborn care, lactation consultant, baby-wearing, a whole range of things. Any hopefully I can find another mom or two to help teach the things I'm not familiar with (such as cloth diapering, and raising a healthy vegan, ect) I want a name that I can use for my email and website so it needs to be rather short. I thought of mommys helper but it is already taken. Any ideas?

Recently saw a performance by Cirque du Soleil, Cirque is the most lucrative circus business in history

Yet, there are also performing arts that are high is artistic standard, but are often in dim financial status... (such as some modern dance or ballet companies)

How can these performing arts be commercialized??

On the other hand, are these groups willing to be commercialized? Or is this not their greatest pursuit(compared to pursuit of art)?

How do landlords with several buildings manage each tenant? Is it just a simple property management company or is there something else to it?
Thanks.

I was charged £25 twice, three months apart. Both charges were for being overdrawn once. I wrote to them asking why I was charged twice and asking for the money back 'cause it doesn't reflect the cost incurred. They didn't answer the question, but refunded £25. I think they were trying to make out I was charged £25. The same thing happened to my friend. She was told only one charge had been applied, and the other £25 was their money they had paid to her debits and she was simply paying this back to them. That's a lie! If she went into, say, minus £10, this is the money they've paid towards her debits. Then, if she deposits £20, it will show as £10 in the black. They're probably telling everyone this lie. They finally admitted to me that I only received a partial refund. So, I was charged £50 for being one day overdrawn. Most banks charge £20-£30. This is surely a record? I'm not worried about the money. I'll get the rest back if it's the last thing I do. Gonna write to the CEO

I want to buy and sell shares to see if I can make a profit. I don't want to invest anything more than £100. How do I go about doing this? Can I buy and sell shares on the internet? Which websites are the best?

I'm really dreading the workload I'm going to have going back to work after these holidays. I've often thought it's Happy New Year for everyone who doesn't have to work, otherwise it's Happy Frantic New Year!

If a person is married for most of the year then divorces in December, does that have an effect on their taxes for that year? Since they were married and have 2 incomes, would that mean they would need to owe money at the end? I don't know what if that is going have an effect on me.

I work part time as a nanny and realized yesterday that my employer told me to come into work Monday last week when I talked to her. I've always have gotten holidays off in the past, but I'm pretty sure she means for me to go into work today for my usual 4 hours, which only means $40.00 even though it's a holiday(she won't give me holiday pay). I feel like I shouldn't go, because she probably meant Monday as in the beggining of the week after the new year holiday, but I refuse to call and ask her what she meant because standing up to her and telling her I shouldn't have to work would be incredibly hard for me to do. I'm sure she'll be calling soon to tell me to come in, would it be wrong of me to say I shouldn't be expected to come in?
