I am buying a home that will be finished in june. On the purchase aggreement it says subject to receiving under 7 on a first and under 8 on a second mortgage at the time of purchase. Well, I can understand receiving under7 on my first but under 8 percent on a second going stated income is going to be nearly impossible. Currently thats a quarter under prime and I am looking in the 9.5 range. If the housing market crashes more by then can I get out of my contract and receive my 5k that I put down on the home? I really do not think I will be able to get under 8 percent on a second going stated income. thanks

My boyfriend and I live together. We have 1 child together and he has 1 child from a previous relationship. Whats the best way to file to get the most money back? I worked all year and made the most money. He only worked about 3 months of the year as he took some time off to build a house.

We were wondering if we could both file head of household and each claim one kid. I mean, since we are not married we are technically roommates anyways. Is this possible or is there another way to do it?

I have 5 employees at my pc shop I hired early this past fall who are paroled prison inmates from a medium security prison and trying to get their lives on track (their crimes range from dui to armed robbery of liquor/convienience stores)

Recently I have become the target of protest by christian orginizations because I hired these individuals meanwhile since their release from prison none of them have done even the smallest thing to arouse police suspicion and invoke arrest by the local police dept

I'm catchin all kindsa hell from christian groups who constantly protest outside my shop and I run a small pc repair shop in ohio

I don't want to fire these individuals that are working for me because they are some of the best employees I have ever had and are really doing well on this 2nd chance but the christian groups are making it hard for customers to come to my shop

What would you do in this situation I need to know and the city council and local police dept are no help???

I started working at a florist a month ago,one day a week voluntary to gain experience for when I start my college course. To cut a long story short she asked me to work 2 days a week and told me she would pay me for it,I asumed it would be minimum wage as I am 28.I gave her my hours for the month and said,im guessing I will be paid minimum wage and she said 'no trainee wage'. We had a fall out the next day about something else and she told me not to come back.
I have to go to the shop and pick up my cheque tomorrow but I think she is trying to get out paying me all together as she has kept quiet about it.I still didnt get round to sorting out my P45 ,what rights do I legally have in getting paid,i have worked for one month.

Thank you very much for any info

I am a long term computer consultant, coming up on my first year at the client site. I have heard from other people, that if you go home for 30-days or more, it resets the clock as far as the IRS is concerned. Otherwise, after a year they consider you a resident of the state that you are working in.

An investigation by BBC2's Money Programme calculated that the real cost of automatically bouncing a direct debit and writing a computer generated warning letter works out at £2.50. Bouncing a cheque costs only around £4.50. Yet banks routinely hit customers with charges of £30 and more. This equates to a mark-up of more than 1,000% in many cases. The estimates were put together by a panel of two top business academics and a former senior executive at NatWest.

So the Question is !

If i Phone my Bank Lloyds TSB and ask for all the money they have charged me on Direct Debits , Eg when i didnt have money in my Bank , Can i get the 30.00 Charges bk ?

Anyone else tryed yet ! If so tell me your story and everything u did to get your money back , Thx

Had a well paying job but the market imploded and I was laid off and can no longer find work in my field(16 years). I didn't take unemployment benefits because I thought I could muddle through with some side projects till a new job came along-which has not worked out. I've tried applying for every position from professional to sales and even fast food and department stores won't hire me (over-qualified). My house is going into foreclosure, my car will be repo'ed, all of my credit cards are maxed out and things seem hopeless. Has anyone else been in a similiar situation and what did you do to get out? Is my life ruined?

Does anyone have any advice as to how in depth I need to study for this interview? It's my first interview with the company and I have already constructed my brag book. I have two years of business-to-business sales experience, and degrees in Marketing and Business Administration. Am I going to have to 'sell' a Sanofi drug on my first interview, or just 'sell' a pen or other inanimate object? Should I know details about the Plavix court case, stock exchange info, etc? Any advice at all, related to Sanofi or any other Big Pharma, would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've had my job as a security guard for a little over a year now. Before that I was fired from a better paying but more stressful job as a groundskeeper and was unemployed eight months. My job is relatively low stress and pays my bills, but I'm not making what I'd like. I want to make more money, yet I know that this job is a steady 40 hours a week during daytime hours (8-4) Monday through Friday. Also there are occaisional unclaimed shifts for overtime and overtime pay rate on holidays. I make $12.50 an hour but with overtime it's $18.75 (time and a half). I get a weeks paid vacation after a year which I haven't used yet but is still available, free dental and my medical insurance is a $50 per month deductable. After two years I get two weeks paid vacation. The raises aren't that great, I only got a .50 raise after nine months, but as I mentioned above the benefits are pretty decent and it's low stress. What do you think?
