Will ebay send a user's information to a collection agency and potentially ruin their credit if they neglect to pay their ebay fees? They don't have social security numbers as well, so what if anything would happen?

Everyone knows in my firm that we are all underpaid. I'm getting closer to my annual review and I'm going to ask for a raise. I'm organizing a bunch of documents with information about my performance, goals accomplished, etc and I want to include how much other firms pay for my position in my city? Is there any way on how you can find out the general range for your position in your city? Any other ideas of what should I include will be very much appreciate it. Thanks for any helpful information.Happy Holidays!

I would like to put away some of my savings since I'm only allowed to have a certain amount in my bank account. Would it be safe to purchase money orders and then address them to myself and put them in a safe deposit box? I had intended to address both the money orders and receipts to myself, then put the money orders in a safe deposit box at my bank and keep the receipts for myself in a safe place in case any damage or disaster might destroy the money orders. I'm not sure if I'm going about this the right way. Could anyone please give me a few suggestions? Thank you so much.

I really want to get off of the job and be my own boss, but I've got no idea on were to start,or let along what business to get into that I could see immediate results. I do have an interest in music, I'm acutally a producer, I would like to run my own studio but of course I don't have the money. I thought about maybe getting a grant, but I'm not sure what the qualifications are. And I don't think my credit is good enough for a small business loan. Anyway, if anyone out there has any great ideas on how and what business I could get into,or maybe even how I could go about getting a studio off the ground please let me know. Thanks!!

I had two close friends sign Non-Disclosure statements to show the idea was mine and they both agree that it is a great idea.

I'm attending a final round interview next Monday. But I'm still uncertain about how much time should I spend if I were asked the question "Tell me something about yourself." I was planning to talk about my academic background, my strength, my interest in the position they offer, my part time job experiences, etc. Will that be too much? How should I trim my answer to finish this question within one minute? Is that a rule for questions like this?

And how long should the answer to each question last?

Thank you very much for your attention, please help me.

Are you able to claim dependents that work part time jobs?
Is there a limit to how much the can make a year and still be able to file taxes as dependent of another? If thats not too clear here is an example:

A 16 year old that made 9k in 2005 working part time, can she/he still be claimed by the parents? and still get child credit? Also can she or he file their taxes filing as dependent of another?

Sorry this isn't really a question, BUT this has to be addressed. There has been too many of these "I make $$$blah blah blah at this website at cashcrate etc etc." I am sick of these users that ruin Yahoo Answers by them trying to get referrals for these shady companies. These so called free offers have hidden fees within them, sell and collect personal information and many do not pay a red cent no matter how long you stay with them. There is a website blog of a person who himself goes into these programs himself, and he has outlined the dangers of Cashcrate.
http://paidopps.blogspot.com/2006/11/cashcrate-one-dangerous-company.html
I even kind a copied him and looked into the website myself and have verfied this.

To make this a legit question, do any of you find these spammers and users that advocate these programs on Yahoo Answers annoying and destroying such a great site?

My employer doesn not offer 401K. I also have student loan debt and credit cards that I'm working on payingn down. Should I pay those off before worrying about investing? Is an IRA the best choice for me? I am almost 30 and feel I should start worrying about my retirement.

I really want to get help for my OCD, but the new drug they put me on makes me so drowsy in the morning that I can barely function in my job. I took it with a full meal, a full 10 1/2 hours before i even had to be up for work, and I woke up stumbling around with this sickening feeling of tiredness that made me want to kill myself with the thought of having to go to work, and I have a physically demanding job. I tell my boss ahead of time that I don't feel I'd be any good to her that day but I feel horrible telling her this and worthless at my job. I'm stuck with the dilemma of desperately wanting my ocd symptoms alleviated, but also wanting to be able to function on my necessary tasks in life. like a job and making money. Basically, when i'm not on pills, i'm in mental agony, but when i'm on it, i'm in physical agony. Any help would be appreciated. thank you.

Parents have a two homes they own free & clear and going to put one up for sale after they buy a home soon.(like within a month) Both are on SS with total income of about 1800.00/month. Credit score -720. What they are wanting to do is to go ahead and purchase a home and then sell the one they are presently in. One of the homes is presently being rented out. Since I am in one city and they are in another, they have been talking to someone that I believe is steering them wrong. Please respond and see what would be the best loan for them to go on. Would it be a 80/20 or 103% financing till they sell their home?..... They would be grossing about 100,000.00 from the home they are presently in. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would like to make sure they are steer in the right way.
