are you in high school? at 14 I was anyway.
go to the guidance office, ask if they have had any calls asking for babysitters, if not, ask if you can leave your name and if they do to have them call you down at a break between classes.

at 14 really the only option you have is babysitting or delivering news papers which sucks. trust me. lol.

I babysat for 5 years with the same family and it was great! plus if you do the job well you will get paid extra...I ended up making $80 a week at the least...usually way more depending on my hours.

do any of your relatives own restaurants or stores? I got it easy with those jobs...family just can't say no!

and if all else fails, go to the grandparents or your parents and ask if you can help around the house for some money...trust me grandparents LOVE help! it may be crappy jobs...but it's money!

Well it depends. Do you have your work permit. You can wait tables and things like that but anything that is harmful or dangerous (according to the federal labor board) you won't be able to do until you are 16. For example, you could only work drive-thru window at McDonald's. You couldn't make ice cream/shakes/McFlurries bc of the insurance costs/risks/labor laws

i'm fourteen too. i know exactly how you feel. i want a job too. i'm not sure how you can find a job as a 14 year old, but doing things for your parents, like raking the yard or something like that, can earn you some money. good luck.

P.S.- what kind of job do you want? i want to be a missionary.

Depending where you love, you may not be able to find job at 14. Try babysitting.

just enjoy not having to work and receiving money from the parentals every now and then.

but if not ...if anyone in your family has a business ask them if you could help out and get paid "under the table"
