So someone stole my credit card number and bought $10,000 worth of American Express Gift Cards. They shipped them to my house but i guess they waited outside and when the delivery guy came, they signed the package and ran off with it.
(I work during the day)

Is there anyway i could find out what the numbers were of the gift cards and a store could track them down? Or if they used them at a store they could get caught? Or if i could cancel them?

Do i have to pay for them since they were shipped to my house?

I call Visa and they wont give me the time of thier day.

Please Help.

I'm working 6 days.... 48 hours... sometimes 56 in a week. It's not likely for me to get less hours, and I need the hours to pay my bills. I get no paid vacation either.

Can you really get .02 to 5 percent of daily profit like some advertise? It seems too good to be true. Has anyone tried this yet??

Hey all, I just received noticed from the Property Mgmt company that my roommate and I have 30 days to vacate the house or that our rent will increase another $200/month. Two years ago we signed on for a year lease, and after one year the rental company increased our rent $25/month. We did not renew the lease at this time because the rental company never mentioned anything about a renewal, so I guess we are month-to-month. But, I was under the impression the landlord had to give us 60 days notice, wherease, we had to give the rental company 30 days notice. I don't know where I got this idea, but I just figured that was the case. So, we are good renters and they are not evicting us for anything we've done wrong, just purely business. But, as far as you know, am I right to assume I should have 60 days? I appreciate your help on this and links if you have any.

I have a degree in marketing communications, which is basically advertising and promotions. But I battled to find work and did the few odd jobs, which I only stayed with for 4-7 month. I am now at a job that I just took coz I was out of work. I have been here for almost 8 months, but it is really not the kind of work I enjoy. But the people are very nice and it is only 5 mins away from home. They also dont pay very well, in fact im battling to make ends meet. Now I have been offered another position which will pay a little more, and be more down my line of interest. What should I do? Stay because it looks good on my C.V. to have long term experiance? Or not waste my time doing something I dont enjoy?

My current employer has posted an opening for my current position. The starting salary listed is just over $4,000 more than I currently make. Some of my friends in the office have also let me know that they don't not make as much as is currently advertised as the starting salary. One these fellow employees is actually one step above me in the "food chain" I find it appalling that someone off the street is making more than I am and I have been there for two years. I just want to know if I have any recourse.

In DC, supervisors were emailing and discussing employee attendance probs (and other probs) with a peer of the "problem" employee; additionally, they were discussing FMLA issues. Is this legal? "Problem" employee terminated, in part due to hostile peer intentionally creating negative focus, in part, employee broke lateness rule. Third supervisor joined in, calling "problem" employee a liar, among other things. Emails are archived and could be retrieved as proof of hostility.
