Don't let your mind trick you into thinking you're too old if you believe you should go and if you have a real reason. It doesn't matter and your experience will count for something. Some people go back when they're a lot older.

You're never too old. If you want to go back to school, then go for it and don't let anything hold you back. I've worked as an instructor, and I've had students that were anywhere from 18 to atleast 40 something, maybe older..

I personally feel that the students that weren't the ones straight out of highschool did much better anyway. I would suggest that most people wait a few years after highschool before pursuing further education.

Don't be silly (no offense intended), there are many people that age and older. People start college at all ages, especially those that work for a while to save up the money. When I started at 18, there were people my age, ten years older, and even older then that in my classes.

Look at it this way, would you rather do it now while you are still in the younger age group there, or would you rather wait until you are even older? (Hey, at least you'd be one of the more mature freshman, unlike some of the 18 year olds that can still be such kids their first year.)

Not really, I'm a sophomore in college and I remember last year taking a class with someone who was 25 and married. It wasn't a problem. We're all hear to learn, there's no bullshit like high school. I would highly recommend it.

You will be fine.

There are lots and lots of students much older than you.

I finally re-enrolled in college this year, and I am 39.

Good luck, education is never a bad thing.

you're never too old.. think how tough it is when you're 30 or older and want to have a better life and want to go back to college then. Pay now...or pay much more later.
