The main responsibility of a liquidator is to evaluate the assets of the factory. He/she will come into the environment and make notes on everything they are looking at. They will tour the entire plant and asses the overall operation. They look at everything, machinery, furniture everything. They will not talk to any employee's and will have someone from senior management with them. They are concerned with the value of the assets only and the human aspect is not in the equation. The may seem friendly but remember this is their job and it's what they do. It's not personal and they could be many mitigating factors as to why they are there. As a person who is working there you above all should know if your company is in trouble, have they upgraded the equipment in the ten years? have any modifications to the plants operating systems been renewed? sorry to see you going through this as it really sucks.

Good luck
