I know she would have to be taken off the original mortgage and if I died 1st the loan would become due. She has a terminal lung disease and she feels she will go 1st and is determined to do it this way. What process should I take , is it advisable and what would happen if I would go before her. Any detailed info would be greatly appreciated.

I know my concerns might be shallow.. but I need some of your insights:

I just got a B.S. degree but I want to go on to pursue Pharmacy which means that I have to spend 6 more years of my life studying. I just want to know if its worth it. Lately I've realized how fast life goes by!

Do you still have time to do other things like work, or go on vacations?

Are you happy and contented with your job? Why so?

Do you guys work? (I need to work to pay for pharm school if ever)

Is it true that pharmacy graduates find looking for jobs a breeze?

Please help me. It is a life-changing decision. Haha =)

I'm not that old, I'm just 21. But I do want to enjoy life while I'm young and capable of doing crazy things. Haha =)

I've seen many new home developements with vaulted ceilings, mini-vineyards, huge houses on little tiny lots...Why can't some developer built some homes for us regular people?
A normal sized home with plenty of closet space and a decent (not designer) kitchen that is set more than 3 feet from the neighbors house.
I realize that they need to make money, but more people could afford homes in this state if the builders weren't catering to people who already own 2 and 3 houses.

Your perspective/opinion is welcome.

My boss decided to put me on a salary. And about a week ago I took a day off because I was really sick. I'm a receptionist for 2 attorneys. So I decided in order to make up my time I would come in an hour early, well he's told me that he didn't want me to make it up an hour early because he doesn't know that I'm doing actual work so he wants me to make it up during my 1 hour lunch break and answer calls. Mind you everyone in the office goes to lunch all at the same time soooo, what's the purpose of doing that if everyone's at lunch? I told him if he's worrying about if I'm really here or not I can just send him an email from my work computer just so the time of morning can pop up. I don't do much here except answer calls and scan documents why can't I do this an hour early? Is it against the law to not have a lunch break?

I have worked at my current employer for 2 years. The past 2 months I have been taking days off to substitute teach. I am going to take the Praxis test next month to get my teaching certificate. I am scheduled to substitute this week but I don’t have the guts to tell my boss that I will be out again without her thinking that I have another job. Eventually, I do want to leave. I think what is holding me back (other than the fact that I don’t like to let people down) is that I have a family to support. On the other hand, I can not stand my job and I want to start to follow my dreams. When should I quit my job and how?

If you are 28 years old, college educated, been working in finance for 3-4 years and if for some reason you got laid off should you immediately apply for unemployment? The underlying assumption is that your family can't help you out but you have at least 6 months of savings in the bank. Also you intend to try hard to start looking for a job the day you get laid off. Thanks.

How do you decide if something is worth buying? If something is priced low, do you think that means it's cheap, or just a good deal? If something is priced high, do you think that means it's really worth that amount, or it's over-priced? Do you think that the people who sell crafts are trying to rip you off and that it is cheap for them to make their product? Or do you think that it is a difficult type of artistic work? Please share your thoughts!

Have you found that there are certain parts of the country where the customers are more or less inclined to buy your product? Do you think there is an especially "generous" state? Or a particularly "cheap" state? Or is it just completely random from state to state and fair to fair, even within the same city? Please let me know your thoughts and experiences, and maybe what your product is, if you think it makes a difference to your experiences.

i just want to mail a pair of shoes...and ups is MUCH closer to my house--.5 mile than USPS--about 12 miles. so i would rather take the package to ups, but i am afraid they are extremely expensive. is there much difference? just as long as the package arrives to the receiver in a week, its fine. what do you think? any guess as to how much that will be. I KNOW I CAN GO TO THEIR WEBSITE, so please dont tell me to refer to that. i just want to know from a person who uses ups a lot instead. thanks!
