I really want to be a car designer when I grow up, but I don't really know where to start. What do I need to study in college, how long do I have to be in college, etc...

Thanks for help.

I own and operate an embroidery business and I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that does what I do. If so, what type of equipment do you have, how many embroidery heads and what software do you use?

I have a Single Head and a Six Head Tajima and I use the Tajima DGML by Pulse software.

It is a seasonal position, but I recently decided to play basketball, which will take all of my time during the week. I go in for the interview in a few days. How will my time request go over? Do I have any chance of getting the job?

I want some business books that focus on mistakes made by companies and I do not mean a book that is trying to give me advice on how to start up a business or something like that. I want one that is talking about a real company that made alot of mistakes.

I am afraid of getting jobs, because if I dont like it I will panic and go crazy, because I hate doing the exact same thing over and over (like flipping burgers, cashiers, waiters, whatever). I mean a truck driver seems like a fun enough job to me, but what else.

What jobs involve the same work, but always something different everyday? (different and interesting and unique)

I am a university student and have been using an extended line of credit to pay for personal expenses. Its reached $5000 now, and the bank refuses to extend it further because I'm currently unemployed.

I only have 2-3 months until I graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering. I have a full credit load, so working isnt a great option. I feel that my current loan accruals and the additional $1000 I want for the next few months could be payed off quickly with a new job.

The banks don't care much for potentiality however, and I feel like I'm stuck.

Is there anywhere or any method that one can get a personal loan without a job (perhaps with the ME degree being factored in?)

Thanks

My friend (female) is 24. About 3 years ago she worked at a telemarketing company and ended up leaving there saying that she was too stressed from work. She collected disability and then met a guy on the internet and moved out of state and married him after knowing him 6 months.

She has been married 2 years and every time I talk to her she says she is doing "a little better" and is still not working. She says they have no money to even have a car, but she can't work because of her health. I have seen her many times since she moved and she acts and looks 100% healthy. I asked her if she went to the doctor and she says she hasn't been to see one in years. Her husband wants her to get a job, but she says she is not healthy enough to work. Also her sister left her job 10 months ago saying she was "stressed" and is still on disability now too.

I am confused why she wouldn't be working after 3 years, could she still be collecting disability checks and maybe thats why she won't work?

I don't want to go as low as a boring security guard that just sits there like a rock, but things like a truck driver are what I would do. They have to stay alert, but there is no stressful thinking.

I recently applied and interviewed for a local job and I expressed my interest very well. I sent my thank you note on Thursday and in return they told me the pay I suggested would work and to set me up with a 2nd interview , but I have not heard from them quite yet.

I'm not usuualy one to rush things but I know they want the postion to be filled very soon, what is the usual time period for the interview process? and should I contact them if I don't hear anything after they offered a 2nd interview?

Thanks! = )

I recently interviewed for a position. In my 2nd interview, my potential boss told me a specific # that he was going to offer me. He also told me to put that amount as my salary requirement on my application. I did.

I found out on Thursday that I got the job (he told me informally). I haven't signed anything yet, but I think I want to ask for more $.

So, how do I begin negotiating when he probably thinks that I'm going to come in and simply sign his original offer? Secondly, I don't have any reasons to ask for more other than I am a perfect fit for the job, and that my reason for taking it is for the increase in salary so my wife doesn't have to work any more.

Is that sufficient justification (to say that I think my qualifications and what I can bring to the table is worth more, and that the whole goal for me to take it was so my wife doesn't have to work, and for that to happen, I'd need XX $ more?)

i am in training for getting my real estate license, and i hear that you at least need two years with that license in order to get your broker's license, but my question is. What is the major diference.
