I recently applied and interviewed for a local job and I expressed my interest very well. I sent my thank you note on Thursday and in return they told me the pay I suggested would work and to set me up with a 2nd interview , but I have not heard from them quite yet.

I'm not usuualy one to rush things but I know they want the postion to be filled very soon, what is the usual time period for the interview process? and should I contact them if I don't hear anything after they offered a 2nd interview?

Thanks! = )

Hi,

I would definitely follow-up via an email. Send something very positive, but not forceful. Something along the lines of:

Hi <>,

I really enjoyed hearing about your company, and I am definitely still interested in the position. When you have a moment, can you please let me know the next steps.

Thanks,
