If you had to complete an honesty test for a potential employer and one of the questions read "Have you ever knowingly stolen any item from an employer"? Its a tough one because you remember this time when you were working as a cashier in a grocery store and you and another cashier would eat pieces of fruit that did not meet quality requirements of store policy.
What would you say?
Yes?
Check no and rationalize that the fruit consumption was an employee benefit?
Reconsider working for a company that asks those types of questions?
Other?

Let's say you have a co-worker who one day asks you to join them outside for lunch on the the picnic tables the company just installed. After eating pizza, he light up a joint and asks if you want to share or have one of your own. Although having or consuming drugs at the work site is a violation of policy and law, what do you do?
Inform his supervisor, safety coodinator, or HR mgr?
Tell him he shouldn't smoke at work and encourage him to to seek help?
Say nothing, excuse yourself, & hope that when he returns to work, his reflexes aren't slowed, mental powers and percepions aren't lessened, or that he won't become more forgetful or injure himself or someone else?

Its so annoying when you put money in a drinks or confectionary machine and it just swallows the money. It seems to happen about one in every five times I use one of these machines. I can't normally be bothered to contact the venders because it's just a small amount of money i've lost so it ends up in their pocket. When the machines are emptied the company must realise that they have more money than stock sold. What do they do with this money? shouldn't it be invested in better machines that dont steel your cash. They're so annoying!

I cannot contol the heat in my apartment, the thermostat is in one of the other two in the building. Mine is a one bedroom studio, very small, while the others are 3 and 4 bedrooms and two stories. Because the control for the heat is in the other room, which are much bigger than mine, it is always an inferno. Except when the occupants of the other two apartmets (out of town college students) go home for winter break. Then it is freezing. Shouldn't I have the ability to control the heat for my apartment?
