Well...just know that you will need proper documenation from your borrower and fax it over to your credit reporting agency. Yeah it works...provided that you have the stuff...but stay on top of them...I have Informative Research and sometimes they take a loooong time...but it's better then 3 months huh

if you have some proof to update your credit - yes it's work , but depend of the situation how many points credit will go up.
there is no general rule to estimate this.
