I have a client who sends money overseas to take care of his father, his father is not a US citizen and does not live in the US. He says that he provides over 50% of living expense. Does this qualify as a dependant and as a dependent care expense?

Here's the situation:

The buyer paid me via paypal
I sent the article
I never had any problem before, have a good evaluation
My buyer has a ZERO evaluation, brand new buyer but with a weird name (like johndoe3272)

Now the buyer is telling me he didnt get the item and claim a refund... he even opened a dispute with ebay ...

what's my options now ?

I want to know opinions from people in MLM in regards to what my upline is telling me. My company sells a service that I sell by phone. I have a background in phone sales and thus I have been able to make a decent (but meager) income selling the service myself.

Now my upline is telling me that I should be focusing my time on recruiting others to sell as oppose to personal sales. The idea behind it is that I am never going to get rich just selling the product, and so I must recruit others.

I am personally torn, as to focus any attention on recruiting would mean I would sacrifice some income that I am making in my personal sales.

What do you suggest I do? Is my upline right, that I should shift my focus to building a downline as oppose to sales?

I am a single 18 year old male, living with my 20 year old girlfriend, I am currently going to college and am interested in getting a little bit of help from foodstamps. I currently make $175 a week after tax, and my girlfriend dosent have a job. We pay all our own expenses, apartment rent, car payments, groceries, etc....
